KABUKA

KABUKA is an IoT device that intuitively and impressively expresses changes of stock price. Depending on changes in the price of specific stocks, it gets better and wither. Ginger designed and produced the device.

KABUKAは株価の動きを直感的かつ印象的に表現するIoTデバイスです。特定の銘柄の株価の変化に応じて、元気になったり、萎れたりします。Gingerはデバイスのデザイン及び設計・制作を行いました。

HOW IT WORKS

KABUKA has an artificial muscle called biometal in the stem part, and by applying voltage to it, it moves organicly without sound. We designed a structure which can be bent, while passing artificial muscle, core material, wiring etc. in a thin stem. Since biometal generates heat, we selected materials with flexibility and heat resistance after testing with various materials.

KABUKAは茎の部分にはバイオメタルと呼ばれる人工筋肉が入っており、これに電圧をかけることで音もなく有機的に動きます。細い茎の中に人工筋肉、芯材、配線などを通しつつ、うまくしならせるための構造を設計しました。またバイオメタルが発熱するため、様々な素材でのテストを経て柔軟性と耐熱性のある素材を選定しました。
