AICHI DESIGN VISION

At AICHI DESIGN VISION, where designers collaborate with manufacturing companies mainly in Aichi prefecture, Ginger was in charge of advisory, brand design, and web design for the entire project. Four products were created by the technology of each company and the ideas of designers.

愛知県を中心としたものづくり企業とデザイナーがコラボするAICHI DESIGN VISIONにおいて、Gingerはプロジェクト全体のアドバイザリー及びブランドデザイン、Webデザインを担当しました。各企業の技術とデザイナーのアイデアにより、4つの商品が生み出されました。

The logo mark uses the three letters “ADV”, which is the acronym, to express the knot of the ribbon. Using the motif of a knot, we expressed that this project connects people.

ロゴマークは頭文字である「ADV」の3文字を使ってリボンの結び目を表現した。本プロジェクトが人と人を結びつけることを結び目というモチーフで表現している。

Web design uses a lot of fun graphics to express how companies and designers are actively communicating with each other.

Webデザインは企業とデザイナーが活発にコミュニケーションを取りながら進めている様子を表現するため、楽しげなグラフィックを多用したデザインとした。

AICHI DESIGN VISION is held by AMN Co., Ltd., which connects a manufacturing company mainly in Aichi Prefecture and a designer who is attracted to the technology of the company and sympathizes with their passion. Under COVID-19 crisis, we created new products in short period(about 4 months) using online communication tools.

「AICHI DESIGN VISION」は、㈱AMNが主催し、愛知県を中心としたモノづくり企業と、その企業の技術に惹かれ想いに共感したデザイナーを繋ぎ、コロナ禍において立ち上がったプロジェクトです。4か月という短い期間でオンラインにより打合せを重ね、新商品開発に取り組みました。

Seiwa Co., Ltd. x AATISMO
A stone tool-like unpacking knife carved from a lump of metal. An ambitious work that also developed the manufacturing process itself, such as calculating the trajectory of the cutting endmill using Grasshopper.

㈱セイワ×AATISMO
金属の塊から削り出された、石器の様な開梱ナイフ。切削のエンドミルの軌跡をGrasshopperを使って計算するなど製造プロセス自体も開発した意欲作。

Nagae-Shiki Co., Ltd. x Junichi Ishigaki
A stool that is overwhelmingly lighter than usual and has a beautiful appearance by developing a unique structure in which cardboard is assembled in a radial pattern. After using it for children, it can be recycled.

ダンボールを放射状に組んでいく特殊な構造を開発し、通常よりも圧倒的に軽く、見た目も美しいスツール。子供用に使った後はリサイクルできる。

Ohashi Ryoki Ltd. x Hideya Minamiji
Traditional “Masu” box that allows you to chill and thaw rice as if it were freshly cooked. This product suggests a new usage for Masu box as a freezing container for rice featuring traditional skills of hand craft.

まるで炊きたてみたいにご飯を冷解凍できる枡のおひつ。伝統ある枡メーカーの技術を活かしながら、ご飯用の冷凍容器という新しい用途を見出した商品。
