VIRTUAL DIVING MASK

VIRTUAL DIVING MASK is an AR head mount display for underwater use. It enables you to enjoy a completely new underwater experience, such as swimming with fish in the pool, taking a picture, and enjoying the game together. This project was planned by Dentsu Inc., Ginger was in charge of prototype design, design, and production.

VIRTUAL DIVING MASKは水中で使うARヘッドマウントディスプレイです。プールで魚といっしょに泳いだり、記念撮影をしたり、みんなでゲームを楽しんだり。まったく新しい水中体験が楽しめます。㈱電通のプロデュースの下、Gingerはプロトタイプのデザイン、設計、製作を担当しました。

DESIGN

This streamline-shaped design, inspired by Hammerhead shark, was adopted to reduce the resistance of water. We also put some slits for water flows to help people swim easily.

ハンマーヘッドシャークの頭をモチーフに、水の抵抗のすくない流線型デザインを採用。内部に水が出入りするデザインにすることで、水と一体になって泳ぐことのできる機能性をもたせました。
